The Drone Lab provides flight, training, and data collection services to get you the data you need for your projects. If you’d like to schedule a drone flight or get more information about our services, please fill out and submit the form here and someone will get in touch with you. General service rates

The Drone Lab offers flight, data collection, and training services to the University, agencies, businesses, non-profits, or the public at standard, competitive rates. We provide the following drone services:

  • Lidar
  • High-resolution color (RGB) and multispectral imaging and mapping
  • Thermal imaging and mapping
  • Photogrammetry and lidar data processing
  • Custom drone payloads and operations
  • Pilot training and data collection workshops

We primarily use US/Allied-made NDAA-compliant or Blue List drones and sensors. Check out our Equipment page to see our current drone and sensor fleet.

We can invoice for services or directly charge grant indexes. We’re happy to provide estimates for drone services and work with you to get you the data you need at an affordable cost.

Small project options

For small projects that have straightforward data needs (RGB, multispectral, or lidar), check out our Small Landowner option for simple and affordable pricing.

Spraying/Seeding

Starting in 2026, the Drone Lab will be offering limited drone spraying and seeding services using US-made spray drones. Check back for more details.
